Before founding Maria Boyle Communications Ltd 12 years ago, Maria was Director and Head of Media at Hill & Knowlton, one of the UK’s largest PR agencies. She works with both consumer and corporate clients and has developed and implemented campaigns for leading brands such as Kellogg, Boots Healthcare International, as well as Britvic, Lego, British Airways and Vodafone.

Maria’s skills were honed while running the City of Westminster’s Press and PR department – one of the busiest in the UK – where she created PR campaigns involving local schools, MPs and City businesses, liaising with Government departments and the Royal household.

As well as her core PR expertise, Maria is renowned for her excellent media skills: she networks extensively and prides herself on successfully maintaining strong personal relationships with leading editors and senior journalists and broadcasters.

Previously recognised as one of the top seven young PRs in the UK by the Institute of Public Relations, Maria has secured industry recognition and awards for a number of the projects she has worked on, was recognised globally as a Luxury Woman to Watch in 2017, and in 2023 was asked to sit alongside the UK’s top editors and be on the Committee of the influential ‘Women in Journalism’ organisation.
