If relaxation and family time are at the top of the wish list this Christmas, then they are guaranteed to come true with a stay at Luxury Family Hotels. With each hotel offering plenty of family friendly activities, Christmas will be a fun-filled few days without any washing up in sight!

The Christmas Package at Moonfleet Manor begins with a festive Afternoon Tea which includes delicious homemade stollen and plum and ginger cake. To get guests into the Christmas spirit there’ll be carol singing with St Mary’s church choir on Christmas Eve, as well as all the preparation for Father Christmas’s visit

For guests who are feeling sleepy after an early wake-up call from excited children on Christmas Day, then the Christmas Day Harbour Swim in Weymouth will be invigorating and a great way to work up an appetite for a traditional Christmas lunch. Upon return to the hotel, brave guests will be rewarded with a delicious hot chocolate.

After a fun-filled Christmas Day, it’s always lovely to have something outdoorsy planned to blow away the cobwebs and, this year, Moonfleet Manor is organising a Fossil walk on Boxing Day along the Fleet with the hotel’s resident fossil detective. Activities roll on into the evening – including a pop-up family-friendly Casino for all to enjoy.
Rates from £1,410 for three-nights and £1,780 for a four-night package

At New Park Manor, which is situated in the heart of the New Forest, children will be helping to serve up treats and making reindeer food on Christmas Eve in preparation for Father Christmas’s visit, while adults can relax with mulled wine and mince pies by the roaring log fire. Kids can snuggle down to a classic festive film with popcorn and hot chocolate and the hotel will book taxis for those wishing to attend Midnight Mass. A Bucks Fizz Christmas breakfast will be served before the sleigh bells ring hailing the arrival of a special bearded guest and a feast with all the trimmings. The hotel’s traditional family treasure hunt will take place on Boxing Day and will culminate at Beaulieu where guests will be given tickets to enjoy the attraction before heading back to the hotel for a traditional Afternoon Tea.
Rates from £1,425 for a three-night package.

At The Ickworth, while the children are enjoying festive crafts in the Ofsted-registered Den, parents can take advantage of some free time and enjoy a relaxing Elemis spa treatment. They’ll be plenty of time on Christmas Eve to pop into nearby Bury St Edmunds for some last-minute shopping before returning to the hotel for some mulled wine or a glass of fizz, while the excitement of Christmas continues to build.  After present opening, a walk in the stunning grounds of this National Trust property can be enjoyed before lunch and the Queen’s speech. A Boxing Day breakfast club will be available for children, which will be the perfect start to the day for parents. Festive films and games will entertain the family throughout the stay and for those who want to get out in the fresh air, bikes and scooters are available from the hotel.
Rates from £2,025 for three-nights and £2,540 for a four-night package.
